Gorgeous inst she? I had the pleasure of photographing Peyton's Senior photos while her, her mother and sister were visiting Galveston all the way from Minnesota! They had never been to Texas before and decided to visit for their Spring Break. Peyton's mom had come across one of my posts on a Galveston Facebook page, offering up senior photos. She decided to book with me while she was still up in Minnesota!

We decided to start out on the beach, over by Murdoch's. It was extremely windy that day - gusts up to 30 mph. It was overcast, which was nice so I wouldn't have to fight the sun. Peyton was wearing a white lace skirt with a matching tank top. We took some photos under the pier - the pilings make for a great backdrop! Then we walked from under Murdoch's to get a few with Pleasure Pier in the background. It was difficult with the wind out from under the pier, so we just got a few. My kids are great at filming behind the scenes footage and holding the light! It was chilly since we had no sun and the wind was fierce. Peyton was very happy when the beach session was over and to get in the warm car!

Our next stop was the strand. It felt warmer at the strand and the wind wasn't as bad so everyone was happy. One of my favorite places to shoot on the strand is at this trolley stop. It is so cute! Peyton changed in to a light pink spaghetti strap dress. It looked so good with her complexion and the urban vibe of the strand. It was still windy but not as bad. Mom had to help hold back her hair at times.

After the trolley stop we took some photos at the blue wall. This is right over by the trolley stop. The details and vibrant color really made Peyton's dress pop.
